John Precious Obituary

John T. “Jack” Precious, of Milford passed away on March 9, 2024. He was 80.
Jack was born and raised in Newton, Ma and served in the US Army. He worked for 371/2 years in the facilities department for Newton Public Schools and the City of Newton. Jack loved to work on cars, was an amazing carpenter and could fix anything with a roll of duct tape.
Jack is survived by his children Kelly Chambers and her husband Tony of Natick, Ma and Kim Cashin and her husband Rich of Milford, Ma, his longtime companion of 33 years Claire Chivallati, as well as his grandchildren Alex, Erin and Ryan Gagnon and Tyler and Robert Cashin. Jack is the father of the late John Precious, son of the late John and Edna (Egan) Precious and brother of the late Jean Robitaille. He is survived by his sisters, Marie Atkinson, Ann Borelli, Leona Boudreau, Terry Dietz, Donna Ciccariello, Bernie Allen, Ruth Pearce, and his brother Jerry Precious, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held on Monday, March 25th from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue, Needham. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, MA 02114.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in memory of Jack, to Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary, Inc., 243 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114.
