Joseph Macrina Obituary

Joseph John Macrina, 95, of Brockton, passed away on June 10, 2026. he was the beloved husband of Margaret L. (O’Brien) and the loving father of Annemarie Macrina Ventresca and her husband Domenico Ventresca Abington and Dr. Kathleen M. Macrina Pilavis of Naples, Fl.  Grandfather of Andrea, Alyssa and Christopher. Son of the late Mary (Celia) and Joseph Macrina. Brother of the late George and Anthony. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lifelong of resident of Brockton, graduate BHS. US Navy, Korean Veteran, serving aboard the USS Benham. Retired Master Electrician for the City of Brockton for 35 years.  Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Tuesday, June 16 from 5-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot St, Newton Upper Falls on Wednesday at 10:30, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Wellesley Ave, Needham.  He will be missed by all.
