Josephine L. (Landry) Connors

Josephine L. Connors, 89,  of Westwood, formerly of Newton, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025.  Beloved wife of the late John J Connors (Jack), N.F.D. Cherished mother of William (Bill) and his wife Karen of Walpole, Ellen Downer and her husband Brett of Sudbury. Adoring “Grammy Jo” to Joe and Jamie Downer, Jon and Allison Downer, Joelle Connors and William (Billy) Connors. “Gigi” to Noah, Colin, Sam and Emmy. Loving sister of Louise Coull. “Auntie Jo” to Lindsay, Heather and Meaghan Coull.

She leaves behind many cousins and dear friends including Mary Hayes and Pat Pidgeon. Long-time employee of Boston College, she remained very active in the BC community for several years following her retirement.

A resident of Birch Grove at Fox Hill Village in Westwood. The family would like to deeply thank the compassionate and loving staff at Birch Grove as well as the care and companionship provided by the Jackie Donovan Agency in Needham.

Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeal Home, 1351 Highland avenue, Needham,  on Monday, April 7th from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at 10 am at St Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood. Interment at St Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
