Katherine "Kathy" O'Malley

Katherine “Katherine Elaine” “Kathy” O’Malley of Newton, passed away at her home on Feb. 4, 2025. She was 68 years old.

Kathy was raised in Newton, was a vegan vegetarian and avid lover of animals and had rescued many cats over the years.

She was the daughter of the late Donald and Anna (MacKay) MacKay and sister of the late Carol Jean MacKay and Mary Katherine MacKay. She is survived by her sister Shirley MacKay and her brother Donald MacKay. She was the aunt of Andrea and Brendan MacKay, cousin of Marylou Bowse and her children and many other cousins and longtime friends of Don Patey and Debbie Hackett.

A visiting hour will be held in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner on Sat Feb 15 beginning at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
