Kathleen J Quinn

Kathleen J. Quinn of Newton Upper Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Stone Institute. She was the beloved daughter of the late Owen T. and Mary C. (Jordan) Quinn.

Kathleen was a devoted sister to Owen Robert Quinn of Lunenburg and Newton Upper Falls, Joseph E. Quinn and his wife Jane of Springville, Utah, and the late Mary Carol Ann Quinn and David F. Quinn. She is also survived by her fiancé, Richard Ferrell, and cherished lifelong friends from the Precious and Geraci families.

A native and lifelong resident of Newton, Kathleen attended local schools and graduated from Newton High School in 1967. She dedicated many years of service to Newton-Wellesley Hospital and was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters. Her faith and love of music found joyful expression as a longtime choir member at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church in Newton Upper Falls. Despite physical challenges, Kathleen was known for her cheerful spirit and deep affection for her family, friends, and neighbors. Her warmth and resilience touched all who knew her.

Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham, will be held on Thursday, October 23, beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church in Newton Upper Falls. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior to the Mass.
