Kathleen "Kathy" Sharpe Obituary

Kathleen “Kathy” (Smith) Sharpe, of Norwood, formerly of Needham, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 57 years old.

Kathy was born and raised in Needham. She grew up playing soccer and was very proud of the title she received as " All Around Town" at Playground Camp.

She called everyone "Love Bug" she was always smiling and had arms wide open to give the best hugs. She truly cared for people and made an impact on so many lives.

She was an active volunteer at the Village Club. She loved going there on Sundays for the Pats game and other events they put on. She loved watching the children's faces light up at the Children’s Christmas Party she helped plan yearly. Her laugh was contagious and those nights at the Village Comedy shows will never be the same

Kathy was the proud wife Gerald “Jerry” Sharpe and the proud and loving mother of Caitlin Concannon of Dedham. Her family was her pride and joy. She would always say "My Jerry" and was so proud of the young woman her daughter is. She loved with her whole heart and she let you know you were loved.

Kathy was one of 9 children born to her loving parents, Jerry “The Hammer” and the late Jean (Kelly) Smith. She was lucky number 7 and sister of Jerry Jr., Tommy, Donna, Jeannie, Brian, Patrick, Maureen and the late Michael. She adored all of her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. However, Norah Smith held a special place in her heart. Kathy was blessed with a large and loving family. She is also survived by countless friends. Kathy had the biggest heart and was a friend to anyone in need.
