Kathryn "Kathy" Scanlon Obituary

Kathryn "Kathy" Scanlon passed away peacefully on June 17th after a long battle with cancer. She was 64.

She is survived by her brother John Scanlon and his wife Phyllis of Medfield, her sister Marguerite "Peggy" Scanlon of Watertown, her brother James Scanlon of Newton, and her brother Michael Scanlon and his wife Donna of Cohasset. Kathryn was predeceased by her brother William Scanlon of Needham in 2017 and her sister Patricia Scanlon of Augusta, Michigan in 2020. Kathryn was the daughter of William E. Scanlon and Vivian (Paquette) Scanlon.

Kathy was born and brought up in Needham and graduated from Needham High School. Kathy had a lifelong passion for art including painting on canvases, photography and enjoyed a myriad of arts and crafts. With a persistent smile and a gentle way, Kathy was the sweetheart of the family, and will be sorely missed.
