Kenneth Paul Jordan was born June 29, 1945 and succumbed to cancer at age 80 years old on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Raised in Newton, Ken was the son of the late Joseph F. and Catherine (Marrone) Jordan. He attended Newton North High School and received his Bachelors degree from Belknap college in New Hampshire, where he went on to make lifelong friends.
Ken went on to become a real estate business owner and contractor. He felt it was a great joy to help people find their dream home.
He is survived by his daughter Leandra Jordan and nephews, Christopher Jordan and Robert Jordan, as well as many other nieces and nephews that he loved so much. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert and James.
Ken’s favorite things and hobbies were volunteering, car shows and antique cars, boating and being near the ocean, landscape design and gardening, western movies, walking, and meeting friends for coffee and breakfast.
He was proud of his Italian heritage and join the Italian American Cultural Organization in Braintree and enjoyed living in Florida for many years.
Visitation will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Wednesday, April 8, from 9 – 10:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Ave, Needham at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donation in Ken’s name may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (https://danafarber.jimmyfund.org)
