Lena R. (Cefalo) Sostilio

Lena R. "Lil" (Cefalo) Sostilio, a lifelong resident of Needham peacefully passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 96. Lena was married for 73 years to the late Louis Sostilio.  

Lena is survived by her daughter, Jody Sostilio Stiles of Milford and she was the proud grandmother of Joshua, Justin and Lindsay Stiles. Lena is also survived by her sister Joanne Cefalo Fellerman and her partner Stephen Borelli. 

Lena was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Pasqualine Cefalo, her brother, Anthony "Tony" Cefalo and his wife Dora Cefalo, and her sister Elizabeth "Liz" Cefalo Curtin.

 Lena graduated Needham High School in 1948. Lena worked for the William Carter Company and Filenes for many years. Lena enjoyed gardening. cooking, taking small trips and especially spending time with her family. 

Visitation will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue, Needham, on Saturday, January 17th from 9:30 – 10:45, followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Ave, Needham, at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
