Lisa J. Crowley-Dutile, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14th after a long-fought battle with cancer.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dale, her daughter, Katherine and son, Michael, of Needham and Edgartown, MA; parents Elaine (McLaughlin) and Francis Crowley of Boston, Edgartown, MA and Vero Beach, FL; sister Christina, brother-in-law Eric Reaman, and nieces Anna, Charlotte, and Victoria (Tia) of Hingham and Edgartown, MA; and countless other friends and relatives.
Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Scituate, MA, Lisa graduated from Notre Dame Academy ‘85 and Boston College ‘89, and would frequently regale others with stories and laughter from these years. Lisa’s favorite things were her family, friends, fashion, food, drink, the beach, entertaining, and Martha’s Vineyard. Nothing made her happier than combining all these loves every summer.
Lisa had a remarkable tendency to befriend others wherever she went, treating everyone with respect and compassion. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, positive can-do attitude, and ability to light up any room. Even while sick, she never failed to bring a smile to the faces of those around her. She made us all better people, and will be deeply missed
