Lisa J. (Urban) Kase

Lisa Urban Kase was born September 17, 1955 in Kirkwood Missouri.  She passed away peacefully at home in Needham Massachusetts on October 2nd 2024 with her husband by her side after a long battle with Rheumatoid arthritis and complications from it. 

Lisa leaves behind her loving husband David Kase of Needham MA and five children along with three of their spouses, as well as 7 grandchildren. Daughter Sarah and son in law Halcott Grant of Sudbury MA, their children, Halcott, Tanner, Wesley, Maximus, Lorelai and Oakley Grant.   Daughter Adrienne Kase and Adam of Spencer MA, Son Daniel Urban of Weymouth MA, Son David Urban of Auburndale MA and Son Michael and daughter in law Kellie Stanley, as well as their daughter Aine Stanley of Plainville MA.

Lisa leaves behind three sisters, Cheryl and John Miller of Los Altos CA, Katie Urban of Tampa FL and Patrcia Urban of FL; along with older brother Richard Urban and his wife Kathy Kurdavi of Pheonix AZ.  Lisa is predeceased by her brother Michael Urban of FL and parents Patricia and Charles Urban of FL.

Lisa was a deeply devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sibling, daughter and friend to all who were lucky enough to know her.  Her favorite places to spend time were with her husband, children and grandchildren at home, or on the beach or dock in Gloucester.  She loved being near the ocean, watching her pups play in the water and taking in the sunshine. 

Lisa was a proudly licensed veterinary technician who dedicated her life to caring for animals and the people who loved them.  She was always sure to go above and beyond in her care and with her compassion, which instantly put both animals and their people at ease.  Her love of animals was passed down to her children who will proudly carry on her memory and dedication in this area.

Lisa never met a stranger in her lifetime; there were only people who were not yet lucky enough to know and love her.  She will be deeply missed.

Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, October 10th from 4-7pm.
