Lorraine Cox Obituary

Lorraine I. Cox, 82, of Orlando, Fl, and longtime Needham resident, passed on January 28, 2012. Born in Billerica and raised in Lowell she was the
youngest of 13 children of the late Fred and Mae Howard and the last to be called to God. Beloved wife to the late James V. Cox for nearly 40 years.
Loving mother to four sons and survived by James S. Cox of San Francisco, CA, Glenn H. Cox of St. Louis, MO, and Garry M. Cox of Orlando, Florida. She was predeceased by her son David K. Cox. Grandmother to Kristen, Riley, Logan and Brady Cox. In 1941 she attended summer camp at Oceanwood in Ocean Park, Maine and by 1971 was a summertime resident. Her first calling was always to God and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Needham. A friend to all who will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held in Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday from 4 - 7 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Lorraine's Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Needham, on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 10 AM. Burial services will follow immediately thereafter at Needham Cemetery.
