Lucille B. (Morse) Gorman, a longtime resident of Needham, passed away on Friday, January 3rd at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 91years old. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Prescott and Marion Morse.
Lucille was an avid gardener, always tending to her vegetables and beautiful flowers; surrounding the inground pool she spent summers in, swimming and relaxing with family. In all aspects, she spent her time taking care of others, she was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her and will be missed beyond belief.
Lucille was the wife of the late Joseph P. Gorman and the loving mother of Philip J. Gorman and his wife Roberta of Plainville and Mark E. Gorman and his partner Teresa P. Boris of Franklin. She was the grandmother of Melinda, Patrick, Audrey, Barry and Christina. Great grandmother of Grace, Olivia, Ryan, Colin, Kyla, Brenden, Vivian and Vincent.
Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday morning January 9th from 9:45 – 10:45, followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
