It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our beloved Macy May Piersiak. Macy was born June 29, 2007 and passed away on November 10, 2024 in a motor vehicle accident. She is survived by her mother and father, Jack and Mary Beth, her three siblings, Jack Jr., Cassidy and Kyle and their dog Sunny. While Macy had three biological older siblings, she was everyone’s ‘little sister,’ especially to her cousin Dean Piersiak. Every family friend, teammate, classmate, or any one of her many relatives felt a strong connection to Macy, who was wise beyond her years. She was a force to be reckoned with, a commanding presence who brought silliness and joy to us all, keeping us entertained and leaving us laughing even after she walked away.
She was the cherished granddaughter of Carolyn (Mackinnon) Piersiak and the late Thomas Piersiak of Needham, and Richard and Sally (Thompson) Toran of Needham. She leaves behind many loving aunts and uncles, 52 devoted cousins, countless family friends that there are too many to list, her family-away-from-family at Kimball Union Academy (KUA), and all her Humarock co-workers and friends. We know her larger than life personality will leave a large hole for many. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Friday November 15, 2024, from 4-8pm and her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday November 16, 2024 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church in Needham. Interment will be at Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Macy Piersiak KUA Scholarship Fund (https://boostmyschool.com/Macy)
