Margaret M. (Manning) Brown

Margaret M. (Manning) Brown a longtime Needham resident, died on August 1, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Dedham. She was 88.
Born in Belmont, she grew up in the Allston Brighton neighborhoods. She worked for many years at Carters Clothing in Needham.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Brown and the loving mother of Betty Dick of St. Joseph, MO, Jane Downs of Attleboro, Fred Brown of Worcester, Patricia Gay of Stoneham, Debbie Brown of Attleboro and the late Joseph "Joe" Brown. She was the sister of Rita Kelley and Teresa Kelliher both of West Roxbury, Barbara Roche of Mansfield , James Manning of Stoneham and the late Thomas Manning and Mary Cox. She was also grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great grandmother of 12.
Her funeral will be from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Tues Aug 7th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown.
