Marie P. (Larkin) Sbardelli

Marie P. (Larkin) Sbardelli, of Chestnut Hill died peacefully on Oct 24, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 81.
Born and raised in Jamaica Plain she graduated from Holy Trinity High School and attended BU and Aquinas Jr. College. On Feb 14, 1953 she married her husband Pat and they raised their family in Newton. She worked as the Assistant to the President of Aquinas Jr. College in Newton and later as a Registrar of Voters for the City of Newton Election Commission. She loved vacationing on Martha's Vineyard and had been a member of Gold Band Club at Our Lady's Church where she and her husband volunteered in the Pre Cana program and was a member of the Mothers Guild at BC High School.
Marie is survived by her Beloved husband of 58 years, Pat Sbardelli, her children Peter and his wife Marah of Attleboro, Paul and his wife Monique of Babylon NY, Patrice Kester and her husband Robert of Wellesley and Brian of Los Angeles and was the mother of the late Pamela and Jane Marie Sbardelli. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and was the sister of the late Joseph Larkin and Carolyn Regan.
Her funeral will be held from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER on Fri Oct 28 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Thurs 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery.
