Marjorie Chalmers Obituary

Marjorie E. Chalmers passed away on Tues, June 12th, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Dick Chalmers, loved by her three children, Marilyn, Rich and Rob. Also survived by her brother Harold Knott and sister Virginia Hebach. Loving grandmother to Amy, Lisa, Alyssa, Jessica, Courtney and Kayla. Marjorie worked for the railroad after graduating from Burdette College. After raising her children she enjoyed working at Newton City Hall until retirement. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marjorie was loved by friends and family for her generous spirit and her positive outlook on life. Marjorie was an avid enthusiast of figure skating and spent many summer days with her family on Cape Cod. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Sat June 16 at 12 Noon in Newton Cemetery Chapel 791 Walnut St. Newton Centre. Relatives and friends are kindly invited
