She found joy in simple pleasures from family gatherings, playing bridge and games, tennis, painting, traveling, and collecting owls. Margie and her family and friends enjoyed their time together laughing, playing, and spending summers at the family home in Drakes Island, ME.

Throughout her life, Margie was actively involved with the Chi Omega sorority, Congregational Church of Needham, Needham Art Association and Widowed Lifeline. She also worked as an architectural designer, interior designer and business leader supporting the family business for several years.

She leaves behind six grandchildren, Greg McDonald, Lynn Wallace (Zack), Clayton Valentine, Michael Daganhardt, Sam Daganhardt (Christiana), Gus Daganhardt and five great grandchildren, Harper McDonald, Logan McDonald, Skylar Wallace, David Daganhardt, and Julianne Daganhardt.
