Mary E. (Paul) MacNair, a resident of Newton Centre for over 65 years, died at her home on Aug 12, 2010. She was 90.
Born in Leominster, she had been an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Newton Centre where she had served on the altar guild and had assisted with the church fair and thrift shop. She was also a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader an avid gardener, baker and enjoyed spending time at the beach. She was a former member of the Newton Women’s Club.
Mary was the wife of the late George E. MacNair, and is survived by her children of David G. MacNair of Newton, Lois J. Ciccone of Plymouth and Sharon M. DePasquale of Newtonville, her grandchildren Christopher M. Ciccone, Tricia M. Charles, Nicole M. Kendall and Benjamin P. Ciccone and her great grandchildren Richie, Tyler, Courtney, Avery, Natalie and Miles.
Her funeral service will be on Mon Aug 16 at 10AM in Trinity Episcopal Church 11 Homer St. (Corner of Centre St.) Newton Centre. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM on Sun 4-8 PM. Interment in The Gardens at Gethsemane West Roxbury.
