Mary D. (Dakin) Wales

Mary D. (Dakin) Wales a former of Needham died on Friday April 29, 2011 at the Stone institute in Newton Upper Falls. She was 96 years old. Born in Concord New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Mary F. (Hollis) Dakin. A Needham resident for over 67 years, Mary was a former employee of the William Carter Company. She also worked as a lab technician in local doctor’s offices. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Maurice Wales and the dear sister of Ward Dakin of Pittsford NY and the late Morrill Dakin, Harriette V.M. Anderson and Hollis Dakin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment private. In Lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s name may be made to Pettee House, 277 Elliot St, Newton Upper Falls 02464.
