Maureen (McGoey)Davison of Needham, passed away on Jan 3, 2022. Maureen leaves behind J. Kenneth Davison, MD, the love of her life with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, her beloved daughter Susan Davison Stevens, son Christopher Michael Davison and his wife Lorena, and son Timothy Kenneth Davison and his wife Claire. Maureen was the dear grandmother of Samantha, Meghan and Charlie Stevens, Patrick, Maria, Roberto, Liam, Cole and Shea Davison. She was the sister of William, Gerald, Joseph, Peter, Patrick, Daniel, and the late John McGoey.
Maureen was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and was a graduate of the University of Toronto. She had worked as a social worker in Toronto, Pittsburgh and in Haiti. She was also an avid quilter and member of the Quinobequin Quilters.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Jan 7, 2022 at 11 AM in St. Joseph’s Church Needham followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
All attending the wake and Mass are required to wear face masks.
