Maurice D. Marston

Maurice D. Marston, of Hudson, formerly of Needham, passed away at his home on Friday, September 21, 2018.  He was 91 years old. Born and raised in Rumford, Maine, he was the son of the late Harry and Angelina (Turgeon) Marston. Maurice enlisted and  served proudly in the US Navy, during World War II and retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. He was a Needham resident from 1964- 2001. He worked as a custodian for the Needham Public Schools, retiring in 2001, after 25 years. Maurice was a member of the Fleet Reservist Association/Branch 3, the Needham Village Club and was Life Member of the VFW Post 2498 in Needham.   He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn D. (Ebel) Marston and the father of Lawrence J. Marston of Hudson and Cynthia J. Little of New York. Grandfather of David Enberg, Matthew and Thomas Little and the late Timothy Marston. Brother of the late Donald, David and Agnes Marston. Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Wednesday Sept. 26th from 4-6 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held in Needham Cemetery, 128 Nehoiden St., Needham, on Thursday at 10:30 am.
