Nancy L. (Giovanella) Daniele

Nancy L. Daniele (Giovanella) of Needham, formerly of Newton, age 86, died on June 26, 2025, at Artis Memory Care in Lexington, surrounded by her family. Nancy was a wonderful mother and a friend to many. She will be remembered for her kindness, easygoing nature and sense of humor. She touched the lives of all who knew her. She passed on to her children a love for art, history, and nature, for which we are grateful.

Born on September 11, 1938, she was raised in Wellesley and graduated from Wellesley High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Joe, and together, they raised their family in Newton. We take comfort in knowing Nancy is now reunited with her love, Joe.

Nancy was the loving mother of Joseph E. Daniele of Newton, Paul Daniele and his wife Paola of Dover, Christopher Daniele and his wife Yasmin of Medfield, and Ann Tully Schneider and her husband Thomas of Framingham. Loving Grandma of Michael, Matthew, Nicholas and Christian Daniele. Sister of Carol Pedone of Ashland. Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph, her parents, Stephen and Eleanor Giovanella and her sister, Jean Kilian.

Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Tuesday July 1st from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot St, Newton Upper Falls, on Wednesday July 2nd at 10:30am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
