Nancy Elizabeth (Boucher) Simonetti

Nancy Elizabeth (Boucher) Simonetti, a lifelong Newton resident died on Apr 5, 2011.at Avery Manor in Needham. She was 77.
Nancy graduated form Newton High School and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She loved caring for others and went on to a career in nursing that lasted 52 years at the Mass General Hospital She was a lifelong member of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Newton, and enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader.

She was the beloved wife of Antonio Simonetti, the loving mother of Kari Simonetti and her husband John Price of Pittsburgh PA, grandmother of Kaitlyn, Natalie and Callum, sister of Alice Patricia Sweeney of Maynard and the late John Boucher. She is also survived by her sisters in law of Liliana Duricic of Germany and Bruna Lazzari of Philadelphia, PA, and her nieces and nephews, Alice, Christina, Mara, Stacey, Leonardo, George and Carl Jr.

Her funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER on Wed Apr 13 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Tues from 4-7 PM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Waltham. .
