Nicholas Anthony Giancioppo, a lifelong Needham resident passed away on Nov 4, 2023.
Nick was a graduate of the Boston School for the Deaf in Randolph. He worked at Rose-Derry in Newton, Imlac and GTE/Sylvania both in Needham and eventually retired from LTX in Westwood and was a member United Steelworkers. Nick had a passion for trains and trolley cars and had frequently visited the Seashore Trolley Museum with his family. He had also served as vice president of the Quincy Deaf Club.
Nick was the beloved husband of the late Mary Helen (Fiola) Giancioppo, the loving father of Michael of Needham, David and his wife Ann of Norwood, Joseph and his wife Stacey of Norfolk and Donald and his wife Karen of Franklin. He was the son of the late James and Marie Giancioppo. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thurs morning Nov 9 from 9 until 10:15 in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls at 10:30 AM. Interment St Mary’s Cemetery Needham.
