Nicholas Aaron Le Blanc was born October 26, 1996 in Missoula, Montana to Karin and Richard Le Blanc. Baptized at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Oak Bluffs, MA in 1996. God parents:
Grandmother Nancy Ann Le Blanc and Grandfather Harold Raymond Riedl and Sister: Anna Marie Le Blanc.
Nick enjoyed rock climbing, camping, hiking, golf, skateboarding, football, and playing guitar. He had a deep bond with animals, and often volunteered at dog and cat shelters. Besides his family, whom he loved deeply, he bonded strongly to all of the many pets that he grew up with throughout his life, most recently “Bruce,” his feisty but affectionate rescue cat.
Nick grew up in Montana and graduated from Big Sky High School in 2014. Every summer he and his sister would visit Martha’s Vineyard, where his grandparents Nancy and Robert live, and where there was an annual reunion of uncles, aunts, and cousins. He loved going to the beach and playing golf on Martha’s Vineyard.
After high school, Nick lived in various states, working various jobs, trying to find his way in this world, moving around between Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Georgia, Colorado, and Utah. But since his early teen years--and possibly from as early as age six-- it was clear that Nick was in a battle for his emotional health, something he was very open about to his parents. Through all of it, he always was loved deeply by his family, a love that he felt and expressed for them as well.
