It is with deep sorrow and great love that we mourn the passing of Patricia Anne Crowley, age 81, of Dover. She passed after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Pat was born in West Roxbury to the late John and Marion Crowley. She was the loving sister of Margaret Fitzgerald and the late John Crowley Jr. A graduate of Notre Dame Academy and Regis College, Pat enjoyed a long career as a social worker at Boston City Hospital. It was one of the greatest passions of her life. She will be remembered for her wit and great sense of humor. In keeping with Irish tradition, she found humor in nearly every situation, and eased the burden of life with a funny line or take on a difficult situation.
Pat will be missed by her sister, Margaret, her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and her many treasured life-long friends. Her dear friends supported and loved her through all of the difficult days as she neared the end of her life on earth.
A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 28 at 10:30 am at Most Precious Blood Church in Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Boston Health Care for the Homeless, 780 Albany St., Boston, MA 02118
