Pat spent his childhood years in South Boston. He settled first in Dorchester, before moving his young family to his home of over fifty years in Newton. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. Pat was an electrician for the Boston Fire Department for many years, and member of the BFD Local 718, serving on the Executive Board. He was a Fourth Degree Knight and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Columbus Council, #116 in Dorchester. Pat especially enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his wonderful grandchildren and grand-pups. He considered his son-in-law and daughters-in-law, "the best in the world."
