Paul Edward Cannistraro

Paul Edward Cannistraro, 45, of Northboro, formerly of Needham, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2021 due to medical complications. He was a graduate of Needham High School and attended Mass Bay Community College. He adored his family, enjoyed hiking and loved the outdoors, especially snowy winter days.  Paul courageously fought a battle with mental illness for most of his life. His kindness, strength, and good humor inspired those who knew and loved him.

Paul was the beloved son of Ann and John Fitts of Needham and Leonard Cannistraro of St. Marys, GA. Paul is survived by his older brother, David and his wife Betty Jo of Westford, his step sister Jessica Swiers and her husband Brian of Easton as well as step brother Richard Fitts of Boston. Paul's nieces and nephews Sofia and Nicholas Cannistraro and Parker and Kasey Swiers as well as many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins will miss him greatly.

A private service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home in Needham. In lieu of flowers you are encouraged to make a donation in Paul's memory to NAMI, PO BOX 49104, Baltimore MD, 21297.
