Paul Eugene Dumais

Paul Eugene Dumais Jr. of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2012. Paul grew up in Newton with his three brothers and three sisters and attended Newton Public Schools. His parents, both deceased, were Paul and Mary Dumais. Paul owned his own construction company. His son Brian worked along side Paul until his retirement this year. Paul was a highly respected contractor and accomplished business owner.
Family was very important to Paul. Paul was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Paul loved to gather his family together. Paul was a happy, easy-going and patient man who laughed and smiled easily and enjoyed life to the fullest. Paul lived an active life, enjoying hobbies such as fishing, boating & chartering, travel, and golf. Paul's love and passion for the ocean and boating led him to live full-time on his boat where he enjoyed entertaining his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his daughter Nicole and her husband Jeff of Natick, his son Brian and wife Melissa of Natick, and his three grandchildren Matthew, Ryan and Megan, whom he adored. Paul is also survived by his siblings Joe and wife Irene, Leo and wife Monica of Maynard, Rita of CA, Jeanne Major and husband Joseph of MD, Mary and husband Charlie of Winthrop, David and wife Debra of Billerica. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend Carol.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church, 1317 Centre St, Newton Centre on Thursday May 24 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in Eaton and Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
Paul will be loved, missed and remembered forever. Paul's children thank everyone for their love and support.
