Paul Andrew Fialkosky, of Bellingham and formerly Newton and Rockport, on August 10 at the age of 81. He was the devoted husband of the late Carol Fialkosky (Scipione) and loving father of the late Andrea Murphy, Lisa and her husband Johnnie Crowley of Weymouth and Gary Fialkosky and his wife Justine of West Newton. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Murphy, Jessica, Jared and Alicia Crowley and Sophia and Jillian Fialkosky. Paul was a great grandfather of seven.
Paul was the son of the late Walter and Mary (O’Connell) Fialkosky of Brighton. Brother to Sonny Fialkosky of California and the late Kay Vacca of Marlborough. A graduate of Brighton High School, Paul was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a mechanic and Petty Officer, Third Class for the United States Navy’s Construction Battalion (the “Seabees”) in Thailand. Paul was a fleet Supervisor for the Town of Concord’s Department of Public Works.
Paul raised his family in Newton and enjoyed vacationing in St. Marteen with his cousins. He also had a passion for spending time in hockey rinks.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
