Raymond Cefalo, a lifelong Needham resident died on Friday, October 21st at Briarwood Healthcare in Needham. He was 92 years old. Born and raised on Rosemary Brook Farm, he was the son of the late Antonio and Pasqualina (DeCarro) Cefalo. Ray was a US Army World War II Veteran. He worked for Stowe Woodard for 26 years and the Needham School Department for 9 years. He enjoyed farming and gardening. The beloved husband of the late Loretta (O'Neal) Cefalo, he was the loving father of Jean M. Demirjian and her husband David of Needham, Karen A. Nagel and her husband John of Milford and the late Mary Cefalo. Ray was the brother of the late Joseph Cefalo, John Cefalo, Julia Ferrara, Carolyn Denaro, Rose Droney, Ernest Cefalo and Frances Jones. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wednesday, October 26 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
