Robert W. "Bob" Clements

Robert W. Clements, 56 of Ayer, MA formerly of Newton, MA passed away surrounded by his loving family at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA on Wednesday December 11, 2019 after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Bob was raised in Newton and was a graduate of Newton North High school, class of 1981. Bob was an artist at heart and lover of animals, the outdoors and fishing. He shared this love with his daughter, nieces and nephews. Bob was a skilled heavy equipment and hydraulics operator working on many major road projects throughout New England. Bob’s greatest love in life was his 11 year old daughter, Olivia Clements (Littleton).

Bob was predeceased by his mother; Carol B. Melvin (Newton) , he also leaves behind his father John P. Chandley and his wife  Carol (Alva, FL), his wife  Darcy (Gagnon) Clements (Littleton)  his loving Aunt who was also his caretaker for many months during his illness, Ruth Luciw  and her husband Michael (Northbridge), his brother and sister in-law Richard and Christine Clements (Waltham), his sister Michelle (Chandley) DeSimone (Newton) and his many nieces and nephews, Cameron, Kevin and Kayla Clements (Waltham) Michael A. and Caitlyn DeSimone (Newton),  Nadia Clements (Texas), Violett & Josslyn Gagnon (Lowell). Former In-laws Gary and Diana Gagnon (Littleton) and their sons Gary and Scott Gagnon (Lowell). 

Visiting hours will be on Thursday December 19, 2019 from 4-7 pm in the Eaton & MacKay Funeral Home 465 Centre St, Newton, MA 02458. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. His funeral service will be on Friday December 20, 2019 at 11 AM in the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA 02459
