Robert F. Muirhead

Robert F. Muirhead, 85, of Needham, passed away on December 10, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas.  He was the husband of Clarice Cutler Muirhead.  They shared 40 years of marriage together.  Born in Weymouth, he was the son of Robert C. and Phyllis Kenney Muirhead.  Retired, Bob had worked for Williamson Electrical Co. Inc. of Needham, as a motor repairman for much of his life.  He was an active member of Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, and will be remembered for his kindness and humility. Robert is survived by his children, Ken Muirhead and his wife, Beth, of Rollinsford, NH, Karen Muirhead Keady of Canton, MA, and Rev. Tom Muirhead and his wife, Shawn, of Beaumont, TX.  “Grampa” had four grandsons, Brian Muirhead of Denver, CO, Kevin Muirhead of Dover, NH, Caleb Muirhead of Beaumont, TX and Joshua Muirhead also of Beaumont, TX.  Bob is also survived by his brother, Philip Muirhead and his wife, Sherry, of Merrimac, NH.  He was predeceased by his wife, parents and step mother, Eleanor Tomaino Muirhead of Needham, MA.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, December 20th at 11 am at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Ave, Needham Heights, with interment following at Needham Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Wednesday, December 19th from 4:00-7:00 pm.  Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Carter Memorial United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
