Robert John Porreca

Robert John Porreca, of Rockland, formerly of Needham, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. He was 81 years old. Born in Quincy, Bobby was the son of the late Antonio and Olga (Sacchetti) Porreca. He was a graduate of Needham High School. Bobby was a US Air Force, Vietnam era veteran. He was the owner of Robert J. Porreca Painting, serving Needham, Wellesley and the surrounding communities. Bobby had a passion for horses and Elvis.

Husband of the late Carole (Nelson) Conserva, he was the brother of Linda Porreca of Boynton Beach FL and the late Patricia Porreca and Sheila Porreca Hurder. He was the uncle of Arthur Carey Jr., Christine Carey, Elisa Maines, Nick Hurder and Danielle Johnson.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Wellesley Ave, Needham, Wednesday, July 9th at 11am.
