Robert Simpson Obituary

Robert G. Simpson, 49, died unexpectedly on Friday February 10 at his home in Millis. He was the son of Barbara and the late Robert E. Simpson.
He was born in Needham, MA and was graduated from Needham High School in 1981. He served in the US Army Reserves and worked for the US Postal Service and several companies in the computer industry, but his passion in life was duplicate bridge. For the past several years he ran the Westwood Bridge Club and worked as a director for the American Contract Bridge League. He was a Life Master in the ACBL. Besides his mother Barbara Simpson of Winter Haven, FL whom he called faithfully every week, he is survived by his sister, Pam Lemieux and her husband Gary of Pleasant Garden, NC and nephew and niece, William and Sara Lemieux. He also leaves a host of friends at the Westwood Bridge Club. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wednesday Feb. 15 from 4-7 PM. Funeral and interment are private.
