Ronald Bosselman Obituary

Ronald J. Bosselman (Big Ron) of Newton passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 76.

Ron grew up in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School. He worked as a driver for Sam White & Sons for many years and retired from the City of Newton after 20 years. Ron was a Muscle Car and Hot Rod enthusiast and had a 55 Chevy Bel Air; you could always find him cruising around the falls on Sundays. Ron also loved fishing and going to the Drag Races with Matt Kumar, many friends and his sons; traveling to Florida, PA, and NH for these weekend outings.

Ron was the father of Ronald J. Bosselman Jr., Joseph A. Bosselman and Dottie Golledge, and Matthew R. Bosselman. Ron was predeceased by his loving daughter Jessica Lynn “Jessie” Bosselman (who loved riding in the 55 with her dad!) and their late mother Lynda Lee (Terrio) Bosselman. He is also survived by his granddaughters Shannon Kelly and Amanda Bosselman and his two great grandsons Ezra and Nolan, and his brothers Michael, Arthur Bosselman and his wife Patricia, and was the brother of the late John “Jackie” Bosselman and Robert Bosselman.  Ron was loved by his many nieces and nephews
