Sandy’s energy, enthusiasm and effectiveness were also on display over the course of her many active years of service in the Wheelock College Alumni Association. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees and chairing many committees she was honored when chosen to serve as Alumni Association President from 1994-1996.
A lady in every sense of the word, she developed deep and lasting friendships with many in her community. Sandy was a member of the Dover Church for 26 years, as well as a member of the Dover Garden Club and the Dover Book Club.
As member of the Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club in Florida and Newport Yacht Club in Rhode Island she never let her medical battle get in the way of adventure and excitement.
