Sherrie Fay Obituary

Sherrie C. Fay , 62, of Norfolk, passed on to The Next Place peacefully on December 23, 2010 at the Tippet House with herhusband Jim and sister Lynne at her side.
Born in Manchester, NH, Sherrie grew up in Needham MA and was member of the Needham High School-Class of 1966. She received her BS in Education from Hiram College and immediately entered a long teaching career in the town of Abington, MA. She taught Kindergarten for 37 years, helping to shape the lives of many Abington children. Sherrie was an avid gardener, enjoyed blue water sailing with her husband and found great pleasure in nature and bird watching.
She is survived by her loving husband James L. “Jim” Fay of Norfolk, her parents, Stanford E. and Margaret S. Clock, of Manchester, NH, two sisters; Lynne C. Nelson of Norfolk, MA and Ann Clock Hiscox of Libertyville, IL as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home in Needham MA on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5-7:30 PM with a service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sherrie’s memory may be made to Make a Wish Foundation or The Tippett Home, 920 South Street, Needham, MA.
