Stephen W. Westlund

Stephen W. Westlund, of Waltham, a classic auto parts salesman, died suddenly Sat March 12, 2011 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital. He was 63.
Born in Somerville, Steve graduated from Newton High School and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked as a salesman for Andy Bernbaum Classic Auto Parts, obtaining classic auto parts for restoration of antique vehicles. He was also a longtime member of the Newton Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by his wife Mary E. “Meg” (Gaughan) Westlund, his daughter Molly Kip Westlund of LA, his brothers Dana Westlund of Wilbraham, Norman Westlund of West Newton, and Carl Westlund of Waltham and 6 nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sat March 19 at 11 AM in Newton Cemetery 791 Walnut St. Newton Centre, followed by a gathering at the Westlund family home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to the Newton Elks PER Scholarship Fund, 429 Centre St. Newton, MA 02458.
