Susan "Sue" Donnelly

Susan "Sue" Donnelly, 61, of Waltham, formerly of Newtonville passed away April 9, 2021 after a brief but debilitating illness. Beloved Daughter of Phil and Joan Donnelly of Newtonville. Cherished sister of Maureen Creedon and husband Paul of Wellesley,

Carolyn Wetnicka and husband John of Norwood, brothers Phil and wife Maryanne of Needham, Chris and Tom, both of Waltham, Michael and wife Sheila of Andover. Loving Aunt of Adrienne, Julia, Sean, Jillian, Shannon, Kristen, Caleigh, and Olivia. Loving member of a large extended family of cousins who will miss her deeply.

Susan had lifelong friends from her time at Aquinas College and her years as a data analyst at Raytheon. She enjoyed travel with family and friend and spent many wonderful weekends in York ME and Falmouth MA. Susan had a special relationship with her sisters following the example set by her mother. Her generous heart, humor, and love of family will be deeply missed by all who her loved her, as will her presence at the weekly Sunday gatherings at her parents’ home. Susan enjoyed laughter, music, birthday dinner parties, dancing at family celebrations, purple flowers, card games with her nieces, and engaging in conversation with everyone she met.

A Celebration of Susan’s Life will take place at her Funeral Mass at Our Lady’s Help of Christians Newton, MA on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.  Friends and Relatives are invited. Interment will be private.
