Susan G. Gracey, of Brookline, passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2022. She is survived by her family, Haven and Joseph DePietro, Virginia Gracey, Marianna Gracey and Mark Olsztyn, and Carla Gracey, her grandchildren Juliana DePietro, Dana DePietro and Jimin Lee, her sister, Frederica LaPorte, her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Patricia Glover, many nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, and dear family friend Robert Purdy. Susan’s family is especially thankful to her loving friends, Wilda Aramburu Allende, and Flora Miranda, as well as the wonderful team from Bayada, all of whom provided special care in the last chapter of her life.
Susan was born December 14, 1934 to Frederic and Virginia Glover of Needham. She graduated from Middlebury College and received a Master’s in Education from Wheelock College. Susan was a wife, mom and grandmother, a teacher and a court reporter, and a Raging Granny and proud member of Code Pink.
Friends and family are invited to funeral services on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 25 Monmouth Street, Brookline, followed by burial at Needham Cemetery.
