Thomas G. Riemer, 67 years old, of Brimfield died on January 14, 2024, at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
Tom, formerly of Needham, graduated from Needham High in 1974. Tom worked for many years for the Hewlett Packard Corporation as an account representative and for South Shore Mental Health (SSMH) center in Massachusetts as the Director of Information Technology. Tom retired as a consultant with SSMH to provide in-home care for his mother's last year of life. Tom's favorite pastimes were planting flower and vegetable gardens and cultivating marijuana. His enjoyment of nature, the outdoors, and time with friends was equally important. In recent years he was also raising chickens and cattle and hosting barbecues.
Tom, son of Robert H. Riemer and Lois H. (Adams) Riemer, is survived by his brothers John "Jack" Riemer and his wife Marie-Danielle Tanguay of Truro, and Richard A. Riemer and his wife Theresa of San Marcos California. He is also a dear uncle of Robert M. Riemer, and Kevin A. Riemer.
A graveside service at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield MA is planned for 11 am Saturday Jan 27, 2024.
Donations in Thomas's name made to any lymphoma, leukemia, or hospice foundation would be a blessing.
