Trevor L. Parsons, age 98, of Needham, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Born in Scotstown, Quebec, he proudly served in the Canadian Air Force for 5 years during the World War II and worked for a few years on the Quebec Provincial Police Department before he naturalized to the United States in 1958.
Trevor joined the Needham Police force as an officer for 5 years and did special details for several years. He retired from Dedham District Court in 1989 as a court officer.
On May 24, 1975 he married Beverly Mills and gained a family. He leaves behind his wife Beverly (Mills), son Chet Mills and his wife Dr. Cara Mills of Merrimack, NH, daughter Beverly Ann Mills-Wheeler of Acton MA, grandsons Gregg Wheeler, Cameron and Collin Mills and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by sisters Vivian Bain, Beatrice Galligan, Clara McKergow, Ruth Nutter and Sylvia Thompson and brothers Chester, Alden, Vaughan, Roy and Curtis.
Cherished by brother in-law Robert MacFadgen and his wife Mable, Myrtle Baillie and her husband Wayne and Dr. Josephine Somerville.
Trevor was passionate about his family, hockey, and speed skating. He loved to watch all NHL hockey as well as to take a lap around the rink on speed skates.
In respect of his wishes, no visitation will be held and funeral services are private.
