Virginia Mandell Blake

Virginia Mandell Blake, born on July 2, 1937, and raised in Millis, Massachusetts, died on January 2, 2025.

A graduate of The Winsor School and Radcliffe College, she is survived by her brother Samuel Mandell, sister Rebecca Tiedemann, son George Blake, daughter Gillian Blake, and grandchildren Brooks Anderson, Ismay Anderson, Phoebe Blake, and Madeline Blake. She was predeceased by her husband, George Baty Blake. She and George raised their children in Orange, CT, where she loved gardening, reading, and knitting. She cherished her loved ones with warmth, kindness, and generosity.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
