Virginia "Ginny" Perry Obituary

Virginia Perry passed away in the early morning hours of September 15, 2021. The daughter of Dorothy Holman Reimers and Henry Reimers, Ginny was born on June 23, 1931. She attended Cushing Academy and Mount Holyoke College. Upon graduation, in 1952, she went to work for Loomis, Sayles & Co. in Boston.

Ginny and her husband of 64 years, H. Bradlee Perry, were married on June 29, 1957. The couple moved to Wellesley, where they raised a family of three daughters. They spent the summer months in Deer Isle, Maine, where they were both very active at the Island Country Club.

In her early years, Ginny enjoyed horseback riding, and in later years she played golf and bridge. Ginny was a very talented seamstress and knitter. Throughout her life she was always knitting, sewing, and doing needlepoint. Most of her beautiful creations were gifts for her family and friends. Ginny will best be remembered for her dedication to her family, her lively personality, and her generous spirit.
